How does it work?
Our system is Internet based, that means you’ll be able to see where your vehicles are even if you’re away from your desk. All you’ll need is access to a PC with an Internet connection. Once connected your vehicle locations are displayed on clear and easy to use maps. You’ll be able to see vehicle routes taken for specific dates, the location of your entire fleet or even on-demand information for specified vehicles.
How can TrackTrans save me money?
You’ll have the ability to check when drivers arrive home out-of-hours to ensure overtime claims are accurate. Check that drivers are taking the most cost-effective routes Check that drivers are not taking unauthorised detours to carry out third party work Ensure vehicles are not used for non job related activity Evaluate mileage done against fuel used to check for inconsistency Utilise vehicles in the most cost-effective way by reducing dead mileage situations Give fast and accurate ETA updates to satisfy customer enquiries
Do I need any special equipment?
No, our system is web based and can be accessed securely from any PC with internet access. As soon as we’ve fitted the tracking unit you’ll be able to start monitoring the vehicle from your office, from home or even from the beach! All you need is a PC and Internet connection.
Who owns the tracking equipment?
If you’ve chosen option 2 then you own the equipment from day one. If you’ve chosen option 1 or 3 then you’re purchasing the equipment over a period of 12 months. Once this contract period is up the equipment belongs to you.
What happens to the tracking unit when I sell the vehicle?
No problem – we can move the unit into a new vehicle for you although there will be a small charge to provide this service.
Are there any hidden costs?
No, the daily charge is all you pay, there are no additional charges. You can logon to the system as often as you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week & 365 days a year.
What if I want to cancel my tracking system?
Once the contract term is up the cancellation process is easy. Just let us know and we’ll stop the service and you can stop paying – simple!
