May 2007: New release for
Microsoft Windows Mobile®
The TrackTrans in-cab Proof of Delivery (POD) solution has been available on
Gotive's Microsoft Windows CE® PDA's since 2003.
We are carrying out final tests on a version for the
Microsoft Windows Mobile® platform, due for release
in the third quarter of 2007.
The Windows Mobile® version has been developed in
C# for .Net CF v2.0 and utilises real-time push/pull data exchange over
GPRS/Wireless links via the TrackTrans e-POD messaging service.
If the Windows Mobile® device has access to a GPS module (either integrated or external),
the TrackTrans e-POD application automatically includes the current location
in all of its messages, allowing the Vehicle operator to track his fleet
using a single solution.
TrackTrans e-POD for Windows Mobile® is integrated with Sygic's iDrive navigator, allowing the driver to automatically navigate to the required location, reducing the possibility of mistyped addresses (separate license required).
